Mark Plummer
(1964 – )
Mark Plummer is a British fan, faneditor and con-runner who first found fandom in 1985.
Alongside fanzine and convention fanac, he has been a committee member for ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha, the BSFA and the Friends of Foundation. He was a judge for the Arthur C. Clarke Award (1992–1995) and a columnist for the BSFA's Matrix (2003–2005) and Strange Horizons (2011–2013). He was a member of the Acnestis APA (1993–2001) and has been a member of ANZAPA since 2005.
He was on the committee for the 2014 Worldcon (Loncon 3) and with his partner, Claire Brialey, he has been on con committees for Corflu (a fanzine convention) in 2010 and 2015 and ConRunner 4 in 2017. They have also worked together on publications and programme for Eastercons and other British Worldcons. His other work on conventions has included promotions, dealers' room, tech and GoH liaison.
He and Claire Brialey live in Croydon, UK.
