Roy C. Seiler, a Bay Area fan first active in the 1950s, was president of the Golden Gate Futurian Society. According to Dave Rike, “One Roy Seiler was voted President because he was 21 and could, therefore, be purchasing agent for potables.”
Seiler was a member of the ISFCC and the N3F. He attended SFCon, the 1954 Worldcon. He seems to have remained active into the 1980s, at least to the extent of attending some Westercons and West Coast Worldcons, to which he was accompanied by Carol Seiler.
