Darrah Chavey was a fan who was a member of the Beloit Science Fiction and Fantasy Association. He was a long-time contributor for Fancyclopedia 3, a regular worker at Wiscon and contributor to the ISFDB.
In real life, he was a professor of mathematics and computer science at Beloit College.
