Leslie Joseph Johnson was an early UK fan. He attended the Second British Convention.

With fellow fan of the time, Eric Frank Russell, he wrote the SF story, "Seeker of Tomorrow," published in Astounding in 1937, as by Russell and Leslie T. Johnson.
