Boskone 20 was held February 18-20, 1983 at the Boston Park Plaza in Boston, MA. The GoH was Mack Reynolds, who died before the convention. (Fred Pohl, a friend and editor of Reynolds', attended and spoke about him.) The Official Artist was Wendy Pini. The Science Speaker was Jeff Hecht. It was chaired by Pat Vandenberg and attendance was 2420.

The substantial growth following Noreascon II produced visible cracks at this Boskone, with the program -- once an outstanding feature of Boskone -- being nearly non-existent.

The Boskone Book was Compounded Interests, a collection of stories by Mack Reynolds.
