A bid organized by Peter Weston, Peter Roberts and Malcolm Edwards to host the 1979 Worldcon in Britain -- its slogan was "Britain is fine in '79". Other members of the bid were John Steward, Graham Charnock, Rob Jackson and Roy Kettle.

It announced at Tynecon 74 and won at SunCon and went on to run Seacon '79. Its opposition was New Orleans in '79. See 1979 Worldcon Site Selection for details.
