Ruth Ann Odren (née McConnell) was a longtime Minneapolis fan, active since at least the early 1970s. She was a member of Minn-Stf and a contributor to Rune. She was a regular correspondent and apahack and belonged to Stipple-Apa from 2013 till her death.

She had been a teacher for many years, including working at a school for the deaf. Ruth married Roy Odren in 1957; they had two daughters, Linda and Annette (also a Minn-Stf member), and later divorced. In 2021, Ruth moved to Vancouver to live with one of her daughters.
