(???? -- )

Joe Walter was co-founder of and co-editor of the first five issues of the 21-issue fanzine Knights (which for its first 12 issues was known as Knights of the Paper Space Ship, aka KPSS). He also published the three-issue fanzine A Flying What?, the one-shot Disasociation (two-pages, January 1975), and the one-shot Fantabulous Crud (c. 1975; 12 pages+cover). Disasociation was "a supplement to A Flying What?", and was inserted into Fantabulous Crud (although it may have been distributed separately as well).

He was a founding member of APA-50.
