An early convention held October 30, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA. Attendance was 30–40 fans.
This is the convention at which John Michel's speech “Mutation or Death!,” which pretty much defined Michelism, was read by Don Wollheim.
Frederik Pohl and Harry Dockweiler hijacked an elevator and named it Shaggoth 6.
