Mid-America Con 1

Mid-America Con 1 was held in Kansas City, MO from June 16-18, 1972. It was the first convention hosted by KaCSFFS and was co-chaired by Ken Keller and Jim Loehr. Attendance was noted as roughly 250 in the con report by Meade Frierson in Locus fanzine issue 115. Attendees included GoH Philip José Farmer, James Gunn, Vern Coriell, and Russ Myers.
