Angus Taylor is an American-born critic and academic; of Canadian parents and living in Canada from an early age. He was involved in Canadian Fandom in the 1960s -1980s. His writings appeared in Aspidistra, Energumen, SF Commentary, Starling, and other fanzines. According to Susan Wood in Amor 2, p. 13, his pseudonyms included Bedford Cartwright and Lance Hardy.
