Now used as a more general term, including fanzines, clubzines, APAs, apazines, fanthologies, newsletters, newszines, convention publications, prozines, semiprozines, books and websites.

| "Fanzines" has generally been used as synonymous with this, tho it mite seem logically that publications include fanzines and also booklets, pamflets, circulars, leaflets, etc. |
