A Dutch fan, publisher and translator who found fandom in 1966.
He organized the Holland in 1990 Worldcon bid committee which won and was Chairman of ConFiction the 1990 (Worldcon in the Hague). He has served on many con Committees in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, the US and Canada.
He is a member of LASFS, NCSF, and SFCD. He used to belong to APA-L. He published Sixth Dimension Times.
Awards, Honors and GoHships:
- 1980 -- SfanCon 11 (Beneluxcon 7)
- 1991 -- Hillcon II
- Eurocon Award for Orbit, a semiprozine he published from 1977 - 1989.
- Eurocon Award in Krakau for fanrelations and several awards for the effort to bring fans from Across the world together through ConFiction.
