Ruth Kyle

(January 4, 1930 – January 5, 2011)

Ruth Evelyn Kyle entered fandom as Ruth Landis in the mid-1950s and was a founding member of the Lunarians, served as the Secretary for NyCon II, the 1956 Worldcon and also the of the Syracuse in '67 Worldcon bid.

The following year, she attended Loncon, the Worldcon in London, while on her honeymoon with Dave Kyle, flying over on a specially chartered flight, the famous (and infamous) Plane Trip.
