Chicon 8

Chicon 8, the 80th Worldcon and eighth in Chicago will be held September 1–5, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. GoHs: Charles de Lint, Floyd Norman, Edie Stern, Joe Siclari and Erle Korshak. Toastmasters: Annalee Newitz and Charlie Jane Anders.
It was formed from the Chicago in 2022 bid, and won the con at the 2022 Site Selection conducted by CoNZealand, defeating Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will host the 2024 Worldcon Site Selection and 2022 Hugos. Chair: Helen Montgomery.
