Andre Norton Award
(1) An Award for YA SF from SFWA[edit]
The Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy is an award for excellence in YA SF presented annually by SFWA. (Unlike the Hugo Awards, the year of the award is for the (publication) year prior to the year the award is actually given.)
In 2019, it was announced that the Andre Norton Award is officially a Nebula Award.

(2) An Award for Women in SF[edit]
The Andre Norton Award was created in 1978 at OrangeCon '78, Orlando, Florida, to honor the contributions of women to SF.
SF/fantasy author Andre Norton (Alice Mary Norton) was the first winner.

(3) A Florida Writing Award[edit]
The Norton Award, named for the SF/fantasy author Andre Norton, was part of a short story writing contest begun in 1989 in Florida.
The award was presented annually at the Florida Freelance Writers Conference in Orlando, Florida, and the winning stories were selected by a professional writer from a group of manuscripts submitted by a committee. The top award each year was sponsored by Andre Norton.
The first top award winner was "The Last Gift" by Eleanora Sabin.
