Best Cover Artist Hugo

The Best Cover Artist Hugo category was a one-time category, awarded only in 1953 at Philcon II, the first year the Hugos were awarded. It was replaced in 1955 (the next year the Hugos were awarded) with Best Professional Artist. This latter category has survived.

Note that this was not the Best Original Artwork Hugo which was awarded during the early ’90s for a single piece, but a body-of-work award.
