(February 15, 1896 – April 3, 1949)

Arthur Leo Zagat was an American lawyer who gave it up to write pulp fiction, including SF, professionally. He wrote some 500 stories, some using the penname Morgan Lafay. He is noted for his collaborations with fellow lawyer and SF writer Nat Schachner.
