Peter E. Presford, generally called Pete Presford, also sometimes "p.e.p." or "Presdorf" (this last a reference to his propensity for typos in his fanzines), was a fan from Manchester who later moved to north Wales. He ran for TAFF in 1977, losing to Peter Roberts. He was on the Mancon 5 committee and was a member of ROMPA, Elanor and FAPA.
His fanzines, the best known of which was probably [[Malfunction]], while energetic, enjoyed a mixed reputation due to plentiful typing errors, and an individual approach to spelling and grammar.
Towards the end of the 1970s, he became less active in sf fandom, and focused more upon poetry, at which he achieved some success.
In mundane life, he was an electrician.
