Sir Arthur C. Clarke's memoirs of his youth in SF, which centers on three prozine editors: Harry Bates, F. Orlin Tremaine, and John W. Campbell.
In this 1989 autobiography British SF and science writer/inventor Clarke (1917 - 2008) also gives his reaction to the writers and illustrators who first aroused his interest in SF.
