Hexacon 1 was held January 5-7, 1979 at the Host Towne Hotel in Lancaster, PA. The GoHs were C. J. Cherryh and Stu Shiffman. It seems to have been organized by a potential Worldcon bidder, including Neil Brodsky. Attendance was about 200.
It was reviewed in File 770 10, p. 14.
