Norwescon V was a convention held March 18-21, 1982 at the Airport Hyatt House in SeaTac, WA. The GoH was Thomas M. Disch, the Artist GoH was Michael Whelan, and Bob Shaw was Fan GoH.
It was chaired by Richard Wright, the toastmaster was Richard Lupoff and attendance was 1371. Its program book was exceptionally well done and won mundane awards as well as fannish praise.
