An convention-running non-profit organization in the Seattle started in the mid-80s by Becky Simpson which was incorporated some time in the 90s. It sponsored C3 and Smofcon 14 and published The Conventioneer.
It says of itself, "It is the purpose of the NCL to act as a service organization on behalf of science fiction and similar genre conventions within the boundaries of the states of Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, California, the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta, and the Yukon Territory."
