John Morgan was a UK fan originally from Renfrewshire, Scotland, active in the 1940s. Second World War service in the signals later took him to Dewsbury near Leeds and London. He was credited with introducing Jack Gibson to fandom when he responded to a letter from Gibson in Tales of Wonder, directing Gibson to J. Michael Rosenblum and Futurian War Digest.

He is listed in Walter J. Daugherty's Directory of Fandom (1944) where his name and the name of his house are conflated to make him John Morgan Dorville. He is also listed more conventionally in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom for 1945.
