Con Turner was a UK fan from Chester-le-Street in County Durham active in the 1950s through to at least the 1970s. He was a sometime editor of Gestalt, the clubzine of the North East Science Fiction Society. He was a member of the Cytricon in 1955 and Loncon, the 1957 Worldcon.
He is only listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1955 and 1956[1] but he was still around to attend the Yarcon in 1966. He was also a member of Tynecon in 1974. That said, in Skyrack #92 (September 1966), Ron Bennett was wondering what had happened to him.
