Clubzine of the LASFS which was first published by George W. Fields on March 30, 1957, with an issue that was essentially all about an LASFS Banquet held to honor Forrest Ackerman. That publication lasted for an unknown number of issues, then lapsed. It was re-started in the summer of 1965 by Bjo and John Trimble.

The title comes from the LASFS motto, De Profundis Ad Astra.
