A trip report is an account of travels undertaken by a fan to a convention, fan center or other fannish destination, or any trip in the company of other fans. It may or may not include a conrep. Often, the important part isn't the destination, it's the journey.
Long reports are sometimes issued as one-shots.
Fan fund winners are expected to produce trip reports, either as one-shots or in their own or another faned's zine, and proceeds from sales are usually donated to the fund. In rare cases, the report is in another form, such as the slide shows Rusty Hevelin gave after his DUFF trip. Too often this requirement is observed only in the breach, alas!)
See TAFF, DUFF, and GUFF for lists of the respective reports. See also Fan Memoirs.
