A United States pro editor, and critic. She is married to David G. Hartwell and the daughter of John Cramer.
Cramer has worked for the Virginia Kidd Agency, and for several software companies. She co-founded The New York Review of Science Fiction in 1988 and has been part of its nominations for the Best Semiprozine Hugo in 1988-2009. With David Hartwell, she has co-edited two series of Year's Best anthologies.
