A California fan known as "Es" who was on the SFCon (the 1954 Worldcon in San Francisco) committee and was married to Lester Cole who co-chaired it. She was a member of the Elves, Gnomes & Little Men's Science Fiction, Chowder & Marching Society and published the fanzines Orgasm, and The Big O.
She and Lester were inducted into the First Fandom Hall of Fame in 2017. An autobiographical statement by the Coles appeared in Scientifiction (New Series #53, 3rd Quarter, 2017), the issue in which their award was announced.
Her "The Gods of Rushmore" (a reminiscence of her return home from Chicon 2) was reprinted in the 1st Quarter 2018 issue (New Series #55) of Scientifiction: The First Fandom Report.
