Sydney in '91 was a bid to hold the 1991 Worldcon in Sydney, NSWAustralia. It lost to Chicago in '91. See 1991 Worldcon Site Selection. It's first meeting was held in September 1985. They subsequently announced that it was being run by "Karen and Kevin".

There was an ad for the Sydney in '91 bid in the Kinkon 2 Souvenir Handbook (1986).

It's unclear how this bid -- which was real -- interacted with Jack Herman's Sydney Cove in '88 bid, which wasn't especially real.

It lost to Chicago in '91. See 1991 Worldcon Site Selection.
