Necon 8 was a convention held in 1988 at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. The GoHs were John Farris, F. Paul Wilson, Charles Lang, and Wendy SnowLang. The toastmaster was Philip Nutman, the Roastee was Craig Shaw Gardner and it was chaired by Bob Plante.
