Sou-Westercon (Westercon 5) was held June 28-29, 1952 in the U. S. Grant Hotel in San Diego. GoHs: Ray Bradbury and William Nolan. Chaired by Roger Nelson. Sponsored by the San Diego Science-Fantasy Society.
The never-quite-came-together Science Fantasy Writers of America were organized at this Westercon.
