Any of the special issues of various fanzines (MAD, SOL, OOPSLA, CF, and FANTASIAS) which were dedicated to Walt Willis and published to assist his journey to the ChiCon. They contained material by WAW, tributes to him, and, usually, other material. Often they had installments of "Willis Discovers America", a serial about WAW's fictional adventures here written before his trip. (The Harp Stateside was written after his return to Ireland.)

The fan fund was WAW With the Crew in '52.

The term continued in use for subsequent Willis fanthologies and festschrifts, most notably Warhoon 28.
