The 2001 DUFF race was to send a fan from North America to Australia/New Zealand to attend Swancon 2001, the 40th Australian Natcon. The candidates were Steven Silver and the fan couple of Naomi Fisher and Patrick Molloy, who won. Admins were Janice Gelb and Cathy Cupitt.
