The fifth Australian Natcon, the first to be held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, was held December 8 and 9, 1956. The name celebrated the Olympic Games which Melbourne also hosted that year. It was probably organized by the Melbourne Science Fiction Group. It was chaired by Pat Burke.

It was mostly held in Richmond Town Hall. A play, "Balance of Power" by Norma Hemming, was performed in Congregational Hall.
