She was a member of the following apas: Acnestis, (founder and OE), Prophecy, The Secret Garden, ANZAPA, TurboAPA. She was a member of BSFA and was Administrator and edited some issues of Vector and worked for WritersServices as a freelance editor.

She was married to fellow fan Paul Kincaid. She was a Rotsler Award judge, 2004-2006.
