British SF publisher and critic, owner of Wizard's Tower Press (founded 2010) and editor of Salon Futura. Formerly publisher of the fanzine Emerald City, which ran from September 1995 to Oct/Nov, 2006, and won the Hugo Award for Best Fanzine in 2004.
Cheryl was for a time active in World Science Fiction Society (WSFS) administration. She served as Secretary for the WSFS Business Meeting at Chicon 2000. She is one of several contributors to the Official website of the Hugo Awards, which was created to serve as a consistent information resource about both the Hugo Award nominees and winners and the processes of nomination and voting, and how to participate.
