The 30th Worldcon and third in L.A., L.A.Con I, was held September 1–4, 1972, in the International Hotel in Los Angeles. GoH: Frederik Pohl, FGoHs: Buck & Juanita Coulson. Robert Bloch was Toastmaster. Chaired by Chuck Crayne and Bruce Pelz. The newsletter was called Wabbit Tracks
LA in '72 was the lone bidder in the 1972 Worldcon Site Selection. L.A.Con hosted the 1974 Worldcon Site Selection and 1972 Hugos.
