Staplecon 2 was held November 21, 1943 at Forry Ackerman's parent's home on Staples Avenue in San Francisco, CA when, again, he was home from the Army.
There were about a dozen people present, including Harry Honig, Ackerman (home from the Army), Aubrey MacDermott, Lester Anderson, Lou Goldstone and the as-yet unknown Tony Boucher.
