The Glasgow 2024 bid started in 2015 as UK in 2024, a bid to hold the 2024 Worldcon somewhere in the UK. It is chaired by Esther MacCallum-Stewart.
In 2019 the bid decided that the venue would be the SECC conference centre in Glasgow where Intersection and Interaction were held and became Glasgow in 2024. If they win, the convention dates will be Thursday, August 8 to Monday, August 12, 2024.
