The fifth Australian Natcon was held December 8-9, 1956 at Richmond Town Hall and was the first to be held in Melbourne, Vic.
The name celebrated the Olympic Games which Melbourne also hosted that year. It was probably organized by the Melbourne Science Fiction Group. It was Organized by Robert J. McCubbin and reportedly chaired by Pat Burke (though the Program Book does not mention him.) A play, "Balance of Power" by Norma Hemming, was performed in Congregational Hall.
