Necon 8 was a convention held in 1988 at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. The GoHs were John Farris, F. Paul Wilson, Charles Lang, and Wendy Snow-Lang. The toastmaster was Philip Nutman, the Roastee was Craig Shaw Gardner and it was chaired by Bob Plante.
