MosCon '79 was a convention held September 29-30, 1979 at the Best Western University Inn in Moscow, Idaho. The GoHs were Verna Smith Trestrail and Alex Schomburg, the FGoH was Jessica Amanda Salmonson. Robert A. Heinlein was announced as "Distinguished" GoH (health permitting).
The first (only?) Doc Smith Second Stage Lensman Award was given to Schomburg.
