James F. "Jim" Steranko is an American graphic artist, comic book writer/artist, historian, publisher, and film production illustrator.
He has won several genre awards for his art, including Alley, Shazam, and Julie awards.
He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006. A brief biography appears in Bill Schelly's Founders of Comic Fandom (McFarland, 2010).
