Walter Earl Marconette was a Dayton, Ohio, fan and artist in the 1930s–40s. He coined the term Political Fantasy. He was a member of FAPA (and OE) and of the SFL.

He published/edited the fanzine Scienti-Snaps (the last issue was titled Bizarre and co-edited with Jack Chapman Miske) from January, 1938, until January, 1941. He also issued five issues of a tiny zine, Science-Fantasy Movie Review, during 1938.

He did brilliant hectographed fanzine art.
