Mario Racic and Filamena Racic signed the register as attendees of Nycon 1, the first Worldcon in 1939, as "Mr & Mrs M. Racic." They were accompanying their sons Mario Racic, Jr., and Pete Racic, and daughter, Ann Racic.
Mario Jr. was one of the Worldcon’s organizers. Pete played center field for the Queens Cometeers in the Softball Game.
