Opus was a fanzine published by Max Keasler of St Louis. Its first issue was a joint issue with Ray Nelson's fanzine Universe and named Universal Fanvariety. Starting with issue 2 it was named Fanvarity and then in 1952 it was effectively continued under the name Opus.  Note that the number of Opus was all over the map using a mixture -- different each issue -- of the Fanvariety numbering scheme, a new start-from-1 Opus numbering scheme and a V2#1... scheme.

(Were you looking for a different Opus?)

Note that the number of Opus was all over the map using a mixture -- different each issue -- of the Fanvariety numbering scheme, a new start-from-1 Opus numbering scheme and a V2#1... scheme.
