Administering committee refers to the concom designated to oversee a vote.
For example, the administrating committee for:
- Worldcon site selection is that of the Worldcon held two years previous to the Worldcon being voted on (i.e., the 2009 Worldcon was selected at the 2007 Worldcon).
- Hugo voting is the Worldcon held the next calendar year (i.e., the Hugo Awards for work done in 2007 are administered by the 2008 Worldcon -- and the awards are called the 2008 Hugos).
- Smofcon is the previous year's Smofcon concom.
