An Alabama con-running fan who found fandom in 1968. She cochaired ConFederation, the 1986 Worldcon and was part of the Atlanta in '86 and Atlanta in '95 Worldcon bids and also chaired DeepSouthCon 15 as well as working on numerous Worldcons and regionals. She was one of the founders of the Birmingham Science Fiction Club.
She was married to Meade Frierson with whom she collaborated in her fan writing. They were members of Myriad, RAPS, and SFPA.
