Kenneth William Gatland was a UK fan from Tolworth in Surrey active in the 1940s. He attended the Eastercon in 1944. He made numerous contributions to the literature of spaceflight, from The Development of the Guided Missile (1952) through the four-volume Encyclopaedia of Spaceflight (1967-75), and Encyclopedia of Space Technology (1981).
In 1959 he took over the editorship of Spaceflight, the journal of British Interplanetary Society that had previously been edited by Patrick Moore. He served as the Society's vice-president and president.
He is listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom for 1945.
